Product Review: CRC 3-36

My work consumes a lot of spray cans containing a variety of different chemicals products from a large group of manufacturers.  However, I find one product we buy very useful.  It's CRC 3-36!

CRC 3-36 is a penetrating oil and lubricant. It works well and has many applications.  I have used it to free up rusted bolts and pipe - to wiping on carton conveyor rails for reduced friction.  We use it daily on carton sealer machines as well as rods, sliding joints, pneumatic actuators and valves.  It works great but does wear off and needs reapplied on some applications.  All in all though I like having the familiar green can in my toolbox.

I would recommend adding CRC 3-36 to any manufacturing plant and every technician as part of their own spray can arsenal.

History Lies?

My favorite things to talk about is history, politics, religion, technology and economics.  So many of my posts will probably be in those topics.  That said, let's talk about history for a moment.

My view on history is probably much different than the main stream view.  Now I never considered myself a conspiracy theory nut but with all the holes in our current history timeline and stories, I find it hard to believe that we REALLY know exactly what happened in our past. Let alone in ancient prehistory.  Now I'm not saying that most of the things we are told are not based in fact. Most are. I merely believe that many of the stories surrounding those facts may be false or myth repeated so many times they became considered fact. Conjecture and subjective views can skew perception and empathy and emotion can cloud a persons view. I'm not alone in this idea. Apparently many people from around the world agree that we are missing a lot of information about human history.

Most people have heard the old saying "to the victor goes the spoils" and the same is true in the writing of history.  It's a fact that some people and events have been purposely erased from record by conquering kings and civilizations. History is purposely written with many important facts, historical figures and details left out - sometimes intentionally. The average person knows this!   So, I ask myself,  what makes us think that its not still being done to this day?  What else are we not being told?  What information has been withheld over the entire course of human history?  How do we separate the truth from the lies?  These are tough questions that many have tried to answer.

The Bible is just one example.  When the Bible was put together many relevant texts were purposely excluded (and mistranslated) because they were said to not fit with the others.  But does that make them any less valuable?  If you ask archaeologists if the Dead Sea Scrolls are valuable they will most certainly say yes.  So who decides which side of the story should be told and which should be forgotten?  Why not tell the whole story and let the reader of the texts determine for themselves?  My conclusion; It's a form of control.  Let people know, see and hear only what the powers that be, at the time, wanted them to.

At some point we will examine the Bible and several other examples in more detail.

Napoleon Bonaparte once said that "history is a set of lies agreed upon."  And he was right!

HELLO!

Hello and welcome to my blog!

I would like to share a little info about me as the topic of this first post.

My name is Andrew Pettie.  I am a lifelong Maryland resident with nearly 17 yrs of plastic manufacturing under my belt.  I am not a college grad... yet, but I am working on it!  I am enrolled in an online BS program for information systems.

As a child I grew up poor and spent the better part of my youth in and out of trouble.  After 5 long yrs I finally graduated high school and joined the Maryland Army National Guard.  It gave me the discipline I needed.  And after finishing active duty for training, as an aircraft armament technician, I immediately enrolled in the Community College of Baltimore County.  Unfortunately I didn't complete my studies (a mistake I constantly regret) but instead opted for quick, easy cash.  Never married and sadly have no children of my own.  However, I do have 2 sisters, 2 nieces and 3 nephews to keep me busy.  I currently live with my girlfriend Breanna and dog Bailey (who also keep me busy).

I am a reasonably intelligent man and will draw upon my experiences in life and work to help me write this blog.  All of the posts you will read here are MY opinions.  My own conclusions based on the facts I am presented, personal experience and information I have researched.  I reserve the right to change my view when new evidence presents itself or comes to light.  That said, feel free to enlighten me when you disagree with MY opinions.  I hope you enjoy what I have to say and that it helps you in some way.

Thank you for visiting and come back soon!
