I have finally started a true ecommerce website after years of playing around and learning.
I went with Shopify as the platform because of their ease, support and success.
It was difficult choosing a niche but ultimately I settled on coffee and related products. Why coffee?
Well it is a very huge industry and billions of people drink it everyday. Some even argue it's the worlds second most traded commodity behind oil. So it's safe to say that it isn't going anywhere, it's stable and even growing. Also coffee opens the door to almost everything. People drink coffee in many forms and flavors and while doing anything. Great conversation and business deals happen over coffee. Coffee dates are as common place nowadays as coffee houses and cafes.
Once our "cupping" process is over we will offer our own private label blends of coffee. But in the meantime we will sell others and many other coffee related products. Check us out at Sournut.com
